  We’ve used James electrical services for a variety of work in our electric only home, radiator installation, fixing light cables and work on our immersion heater. I can’t recommend them enough, always friendly, great service and never had any issues afterwards!!

  James Electrical Services provided perfect service to fit a CCU socket and install a new induction hob. When booking in the call out Stella was quick to respond, helpful and communicative. She arranged a call out for the next day. Rupert who attended arrived promptly, he was very polite and respectful of our home. He carried out the task quickly, neatly and skilfully which included having to make a small alteration to the kitchen unit. Rupert cleaned up the area immaculately at the end of the job. Thanks Guys!

  Very disappointing experience — poor diagnosis, no proper solution, and no accountability. I wasted both time and money.I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. Responding to the company’s reply: Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify — I never asked for free work. I simply expected the company to honour what was previously confirmed to me regarding the follow-up visit. The original issue wasn’t resolved, and the information I was given about the cost changed afterwards. My review reflects this experience so others can be aware.

  Hi Soner, I’m sorry to hear that you’re disappointed. I’ve reviewed the full job record to ensure everything is accurate and transparent. You originally asked us to address an overheating issue at the wall connection of your heaters. We completed the agreed work — installing four double-pole switches — which is the correct solution for that type of fault and was paid for without dispute. After the work was finished, it became clear that the overheating was actually coming from inside the heaters themselves, at the C14 inlet. This is a manufacturer defect, not something caused by wiring or the work carried out. Replacing the heaters was not part of the original job, and wasn’t included or quoted for. Despite this, we offered a goodwill discounted price to install replacement heaters if you chose to supply them. At no stage was free installation of new heaters agreed, and there is no communication that supports this. We always aim to be fair, clear, and professional, and we remain happy to assist with any further work if needed. Kind regards, Jack James Electrical Services Ltd
