  HDS are so professional, flexible and knowledgeable. We used them for our entire house rewiring during a major rebuild and they were the best tradesmen to deal with throughout 10 months of work. For smaller jobs they have always been happy to help with good advice. They seem to really think about what the best solutions are more than most tradespeople: they also respect our opinions! They were called HDS Electrical at that time. If I could fit solar too I wouldn't call anyone else as I trust them so much.

  The HDS team are awesome. They didn't sell me a Solar system like so many other installers, they took the time to understand my needs, and challenges and designed a system that serves me now but is also future proofed. I now have a (small) solar array and a high capacity battery system that can run my heating, my whole house and charge my car in emergencies. As with many major installs, we hit a couple of stumbling blocks - these never felt like a problem, the team always had a way forward and presented reasonable options to resolve any issues. Since my install, the team has stayed in touch and has always been quick to respond to any queries I have or when I have managed to confused with my new kit. Trouble with being them being this good is I am now trying to think of what other jobs I want them to do!

  Very helpful and professional, with prices in-line with other quotes. We spent a long time discussing the correct system to install and why (eg batteries that discharge at 30A rather than earlier generation/ cheaper ones that discharge at 11A). Been very helpful, with very quick responses, since the install - sorting out questions and programming forced discharge periods etc.

  HDS designed and installed a 4.8kW roof mounted PV with 12kW battery and inverter. I spent a long time looking at various solar companies. HDS were super from start to finish. Actually took time to come and visit the house, talk through our wants/needs and were on hand to answer any questions. Design was quick. All paperwork handled with DNO etc. Installation was really professional - quick, tidy, polite etc. Panels now up and running with excellent aftercare when I have needed help tweaking the system using the app. Very happy customer!

  HDS provided me with a great Solar and battery solution with a hot water tank Solar booster included. Really professional outfit with nice guys always cleaned up after themselves every day. The work was delivered on schedule and to a very high quality. Really good aftercare answering my numerous questions. Would highly recommend.

  Hi Jim, thank you for reaching out and apologies we had to turn your job down. Given we have never done any work for you and that we were just unable to help with your request, a 1 star review seems a little unjust. As I'm sure you will agree, Lorraine was very polite on the phone and given the nature of the request, I wonder if the last comment was warranted. We let you know our electrical team is booked for at least 8 weeks, and as we couldn't guarantee a date, we did not want to make promises we could not keep. It is not in our nature to risk letting people down or messing them around, certainly not if they have to wait 8+ weeks for this. We are sorry you felt the need to recommend people be careful about us for this reason. For reference, our roofing team is available but not qualified to do the task and once again, we cannott guarantee the electrical team is available to assist you with this, without risking compromising jobs we have already committed to.   Howard, Adam and the team have just finished a full rewire of our house and were a pleasure to deal with. Even when the house was a building site, they made an effort to tody up after themselves and every step of the job was done to a high standard. Would not hesitate to get in touch again if we need any future electrical work doing.
