This is an installation at my Ashdown Solar did at my home. It is the second the company have done for me- the first being a more complex one at a church hall I had charge of. Both installations were done to a very high standard. Terry and his team are very reliable when it comes to dates and times, and respond to queries quickly. They are great guys to deal with. Unlike many firms, their work is covered by an independent insurance policy for 2 years should there be a problem and they not be in business to sort it for any reason. This is in addition of course to the equipment manufacturer's much longer guarantees on the battery and solar panels. I would just add finally that the price was 20% cheaper than another quote I got. Grade 1 experience all round!

So pleased that we chose to use Ashdown Solar for the installation of panels, battery, EV charger and backup power supply kit. Terry and Scott, or should that be Scott and Terry, bring all the skills needed to complete the project satisfactorily. They are so professional in the way they handle all aspects of the job, be that initial survey, cabling, etc. and yes, plenty of paperwork. Time was taken to ensure that the cabling was as unobtrusive as possible, and they were very patient with the enquiries of the uninitiated and also a late rethink by the clients! Less than a week after going live we are 100% solar powered and close to tying up all the paperwork with the energy company. We would heartily recommend Ashdown - you will not be disappointed.

We initially approached a number of companies regarding the design, supply and installation of a solar / battery system for our home. We wanted the PV panels locating on a car barn, a few 10's of yards away from our house. Most companies wouldn't take on this slightly unconventional installation. Ashdown solar however were happy to work with us to come up with a design which would work for us. Terry and Scott visited a number of times to discuss options with us and make sure we understood what was to be provided and how the work (including running cables between the outbuilding and our house) would be undertaken. Communication was excellent from start to finish and it was a pleasure to have Terry and Scott working at our house. They were at all times helpful, considerate and polite and take great pride in the work they are doing. The install ran on a day or so longer than initially anticipated, but we were kept informed and the reason for the slight overrun was that they were keen to do everything properly and to a high standard, rather than rushing to get things finished. In short, I cannot recommend Ashdown Solar highly enough. If you use them for your installation, do keep them supplied with cups of nice, hot tea...they very much appreciate this!

I highly recommend Ashdown Solar. They are so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. The team supported us from our initial enquiry through to the final paperwork. No question is too much trouble for them. We are so pleased with the installation they have undertaken. I would give them more stars if I could!

From start to finish Terry and Scott were really professional and gave me confidence that they were going to do a good job. Unlike a national firm, I wanted a local business which offered something more in the space of customer service as I was very new to solar. Scaffolding was put up at my convenience and all the paperwork for the job completed by them. They worked on my house, even repaired some of the tiles on the roof which wasn't their responsibility and helped with bird proofing as the contractor was not available. Really friendly service, got everything up and running and answered my stupid questions as they came up. They even bring their own tea bags! Set up in the app and gave me advice around tariffs. 100% recommended and will definitely ask them back when I have a EV port installed.

I cannot recommend Ashdown Solar highly enough. Terry answered all our questions prior to the installation which convinced us we were doing the right thing. The installation was quick and tidy. All contractors used were prompt, efficient and courteous and we are now generating the amount of electricity exactly as promised. Couldn’t be happier with the installation and the service.
