  Unfortunately I will not recommend McCann Electrical Ltd to anyone. We got charged for unfinished work, (£1250) and I had to phone them many times to explain that the work was not finished as we expected. Eventually they sorted out the bill and they only charged £1000, however - had I not insisted, they would have charged a fortune for work badly done. The works have been carried out in January and it has taken them until the 11th of June (!!!) to send us the certificate of completion. Unprofessional service. I was very disappointed that I had to call them again in June- to ask for a receipt of the payment and to ask them to send the certificate of completion (otherwise god knows how long it would have taken them to send it … if they were actually going to send it!) Unbelievable how unprofessional they have been.

  I received a letter today stating that you had tried to gain access to my property. Your electrician did not try to gain access to the property, as at the time I was in the middle of a phone call when I heard someone approach the front door for the letter to be put through it. It was not knocked on to see if anyone was home. I do not appreciate the threat of contacting CVHA to tell them we didn’t answer when the electrician couldn’t be bothered. It's not very professional of your staff to do this as it reflects badly on you as a company!!

  Hi Nicola we are carrying out an electrical inspection contract on behalf of your housing association, if we have had difficulty contacting you via telcon to arrange access we have been instructed to letter properties to prompt the tenant to contact us to arrange access. Apologies for the confusion here we were just delivering a hard copy letter as we had resource in your area - please can you contact us using the details on the letter and make contact to our office so we can book you in (if you have not already) or alternatively call 01698 263625 Many thanks McCann Admin team
