  They were quick and efficient on the quote / install, flexible to my needs and everything looks, and is working, super! It's brought down my electricty costs by half (approx) and it was the best feeling in the world to see the electricity usage on the smart meter fall (and keep falling). Next project is to find more roof space to put on additional panels and to get an additional battery.

  Caplor and all those involved in the installation of our solar panels and EV charger, gave exceptionally good service. They were friendly and helpful, from the first visit to explain our options. Work was completed efficiently and on time, withe due care for our garden and property. The electrician was very professional and caring ,taking time to site the battery and inverter, to move power points and achieve optimal use of space in a neat and tidy finish. We are delighted with our experience and would thoroughly recommend Caplor. Thank you all.

  So Caplor did exactly what they said they would do, exactly when they said they would do it. As a customer that is all I want. Furthermore their communications has been spot on throughout in terms of explaining the kit and their project planning. I'm happy.

  We had our solar panels fitted in July 2023. We asked for the inverter and battery to be fitted inside as it all looks very 'electrical' but caplor fitted it outside and said it was waterproof and would be fine. Initially everything was fine but then the USB dongle stopped working around 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago an engineer came to check it out and had to decommission the inverter because it was flooded. We have been trying ever since to get the inverter replaced and we were prepared to build a canopy or box it all in ourselves but keep being fobbed off by caplor saying they are waiting to hear back from the inverter manufacturer. They don't call back when they say they will and won't take responsibility for the installation and replacement of the inverter. Update: this has now been resolved by Caplor and Givenergy. Thank you. Now everything is working as it should be and we are very pleased with the system. I would estimate we are saving around 50% in the Winter and because of the export amount we are saving 100% in the Summer.

  Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following the issue that has arisen with your inverter and battery since install. At the time of installation, the guidance and manual advised that the product was suitable for outside use; as it is IP rated for outdoor use. This guidance has recently been updated by GivEnergy to advise that a cover is installed over the inverter; as such we have been to site and installed this canopy. Due to this issue being a warranty issue we had to liaise with the supplier and are continuously escalated the case to expediate the site visit from GivEnergy, which we have been advised is in process, where their engineer will investigate the issue and replace if it cannot be fixed. We are disappointed to read you feel our communication has been poor, but please rest assured our team are working hard alongside GivEnergy to process this warranty claim; if you do wish to raise this as a formal complaint, please email us: [email protected]

  Can't praise them highly enough - they installed a solar panel and battery system for us, and were extremely helpful and efficient, always going the extra mile to get everything sorted and working perfectly.

  Air source heat pump, solar and battery installed in our 1970s end of terrace. The communication leading to the install was first rate. The installation teams were fast working and knowledgeable, happy to patiently explain the pros and cons of install options on site. We are very happy with the operation of the system so far, and after sales care has been fantastic. The single issue with the air source heat pump was rectified within 3hours by an electrical engineer, and I was given direction for self rectification in the future. I would recommend caplor to anyone looking to upgrade their heating system.
