You made a very difficult situation much easier to handle with your great communication and with your personality! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to deal with! 5Following a burst pipe which brought down part of our kitchen ceiling, Stellar was appointed to restore the ceiling and decoration. Without exception the team of Chris and Stuart the joiners, John the electrician, Owen the plasterer and Ian the decorator were very pleasant and professional. The work was completed to a high standard under the supervision of Wullie Burley. The whole experience was made easier because Wullie kept us informed at every stage and visited regularly to check on progress. We are very happy with the end result!

1A total SHAMBLES/NIGHTMARE from the start. This so called firm had start date 8 December 2025 and a finish date 16 December 2025 to fit two kitchen carcasses two worktops and a new floor after a flood at my small kitchen. The work was put on hold on the 9 December due to part of the floor required to be renewed.due to damp. They told me that due to pre schedule work to the tradesmen and the Xmas holiday period they could not return to put in the new flooring until the 29 December 2025. They had placed my washing machine, cooker and hob in the middle of my living room leaving me with no cooking or washing facilities. I am 67yrs old and have chronic heart.disease and limited mobility I also have type 2 diabetes. I was looking forward to see my 4 grandchildren over the Xmas period as usual but was unable to due to my house being uninhabitable. My insurance put me up in a hotel over the Xmas and new year period which I hated. They told me work would start on 5 January 2026. And be finished on the 16 January 2026.I returned home at last but there was still extra work to be done. I requested a chevron style foot to be fitted and had to pay an extra £430 for this to be done. this is now 2 APRIL 2026 and the floor is still not finished it has prominent gaps all over. The joiner who fitted the floor told me he had never fitted a style like this. The gaps have been filled in with cheap putty but have cracked and fallen out their Forman Davy was out and photos on numerous occasions. I was advised that putting in the filler would be the best and easiest way instead of replacing the floor yes it would be cheaper for Stellar. They tried a few different fillers but the colour didn’t match the wooden floor. I also have to mention that due to pulling out and pushing back in several times the dishwasher and washing machines are now leaking. I could go on but what’s the point STELLAR should prioritise there customers needs due to age and health there is no empathy with this company. I hope this gives them a massive wake up call. I would also demand that the £430 I paid. Extra for the floor should be reimbursed. A VERY DISSATISFIED AND ANGRY OAP

Hi Raymond, The works at your property were arranged and authorised by your insurers, we require to follow a strict set of procedures and are unable to progress works without the authority of your insurance company. For your particular job there were additional works under floor which could not have been identified until the hardwood flooring was removed. This resulted in a delay from your insurers to authorise additional works. Unfortunately, it is protocol if there are going to be no cooking facilities that your insurers will arrange alternative accommodation. This is not something that Stellar have control over. We worked through the Christmas period to try get you in to your home as quickly as possible, within the guidelines set out by your insurers. Insurance works are on a like for like basis and you requested works outwith the original scope, which is why there was a cost to be borne by yourself. The style of flooring chosen by you has a level of natural shrinkage which we can only see once the flooring is in and settled, we have filled any spacing as is standard practice. As a company Stellar always prioritises our customers and this can be seen with our positive reviews and we can assure you we will work together to finalise your works to ensure you get the finish required. Kind regards, Stellar Insurance

5Stellar Insurance Reinstatement Services recently refurbished both my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms through an insurance claim, and I’m extremely pleased with the results. The team carried out the work to a high standard, were professional throughout, and made the whole process smooth and stress‑free. Any concerns or questions I had were dealt with promptly, and communication was always clear. A special mention goes to the project manager, Wullie Burley, who was fantastic at keeping me updated at every stage. His organisation and communication made a huge difference and gave me confidence in the project from start to finish.

5Wullie has been an outstanding project manager throughout my reinstatement process — and truly became a friend along the way. He is professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. Communication was always smooth and reassuring. Whenever I felt stressed, he went above and beyond to support me, offering practical solutions and taking the pressure off my shoulders. He handled everything efficiently and saved me so much hassle. Wullie has a great eye for detail and recommended the perfect combination of materials and colour matching. My home now looks brand new — even better than before. He also personally helped resolve several additional issues that weren’t originally covered, which I deeply appreciated. I would wholeheartedly recommend Wullie and Stellar to anyone needing reinstatement work. You will be in excellent hands.
