  Unfortunately my experience is similar to other recent reviews. Jack Davies took my deposit in early June and I received an email recently that the installation programme has been put back to 2026. Meanwhile I discover that the guy was bankrupt in February and the Jtd solar Limited company is in liquidation. No response to email /text/ phone call. Looks like deliberate deception /fraud / criminality. Considering next steps in that direction if I don’t hear back from him very soon.

  JTD Solar's owner responded to a sales enquiry in May 2025, provided a quotation and accepted a deposit for a solar and battery installation despite being declared personally bankrupt in February 2025 and therefore ineligible to be a company director at the time. The company is now subject to a compulsory liquidation order from the Insolvency Service. My installation was scheduled for early August, and then, with 2 weeks' notice, I was advised it would be postponed until January or February 2026. The owner is not answering the phone or responding to emails. Be warned that regardless of any former good reputation, JTD Solar should not be trusted under any circumstances.

  Jack and his roofing team installed solar panels and battery/inverter on my property 6 months ago. Following the commissioning of the system there were a few minor issues which I had to sort out myself as Jack was not responding to my calls. Now there is a major problem with the inverter and I will have to find another installer to help me as it is impossible to contact Jack. Based on my experience, if you are looking to install solar panels etc avoid this company (if it's still in business).

  One of our panels stopped working. Trying to reach the installer as directed by solaredge and no reply. Contact numbers dont work.. avoid!

  Jack went above and beyond to do an excellent job that required a lot more work than most EV charge point installations need - and all at a very reasonable price. He was very professional and friendly, and left everything cleaner than when he arrived

  Professional local company that fitted a superior solar array, battery, inverter and EV charger at our house. Quality products only used and at much better value than the national companies. Recommended.

  This company no longer appears to be in trading. We had solar panels and a car charger installed in Dec '22. Despite the awful weather this went well and they did a pretty good job. We also ordered a Tesla Powerwall which at the time had a pretty long lead time. Unfortunately, we partially paid upfront for the battery yet two years on we're still waiting. Messages and calls go unanswered, and the office number no longer appears to exist. A look at the company records at Companies House is ominous with an active proposal to strike off. No longer RECC members btw. Don't waste time, look elsewhere. Happy to edit review should company make amends.

  Jack visited our home and, without any prior pressure or information about solar panels, provided us with a thorough and clear explanation of how they work. After receiving a quote that was nearly half the price of what a national company had offered, his team promptly started the installation. Despite facing torrential rain during the process, the team maintained a safe and professional environment and continued their work undeterred. Saying we're pleased with the results would be an understatement—they did an exceptional job. To wrap things up, Jack returned to guide us through the app, ensuring we understood everything. We’re extremely satisfied and will definitely be recommending them to our friends!

  I've delayed reviewing to allow for any issues but there hasn't been any. Installed a 7.5kw system, super friendly installers, competitive price too. They also ad-hoc installed an electronic device on one of the panels where it would be partially shaded by the chimney stack to improve the overally performance. Would use again and have recommended. They also were agreeable to making the layout symmetrical and the finish is great as they now cover the silver frames with a black frame on the large efficient panels as well as superneat bird protection rods rather than wire mesh. Will post some images. Thanks guys
