  Nova were great when they came to do a check of our electrics then fit a new consumer unit, combining 3 older ones into 1. They were knowledgeable, polite and got the job done well.   Nova Electrical have helped me in 2 different emergencies. Firstly we had a faulty cable leading to an upstairs shower causing the mains to trip out leaving my house/family with no power. They prompty investigated and resolved the issue. On another occasion we had issues with the main box, which again Nova attended at short notice to resolve. They are also involved in the local community and are a kind sponsors for grass roots football for young children. I wouldn't use anyone else, any electrical issues these are my first call. Highly recommended.

  Excellent Service and Lovely People. Yesterday I had an electrical emergency. I had been having issues with an intermittent fault on my sockets. The consumer unit seemed to give up the ghost with a puff of smoke. Prior to this I had a negative experience of another electrician who bashed stuff with his sonic screwdriver. Ran a test with a plug in device that can be bought off Amazon for a tenner and tried to flog me a new consumer unit without finding the fault. Beware of check a trade as I found him there! I then found the lovely folk at Avon. Laura handled my initial call promptly and efficiently. Frazer then came round and professionally and logically ran tests with the correct kit and took sockets off. Rob then joined Frazer as the fault was difficult to find and turned out to be quite dangerous. Both worked diligently and fixed the fault and did not leave my property until power was restored and everything safe. The price that I paid was competitive. I am definitely using again and would recommend to anyone.

  We contacted Avon Electrical following a recommendation - from the outset Nick was helpful, visited site promptly to quote for the works and responded quickly to emails. It turned to be a more comprehensive job than initially thought but Nick kept us informed, had to go to site more than originally planned and had a couple of extra issues to deal with but everything was resolved satisfactorily at the prices quoted and Nick has even helped with queries since works were completed. Very pleased with the work carried out and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
